Think Globally, Eat Locally this Christmas at Tuscany
Make Christmas remarkable this year with Tuscany Bistro. One of our primary goals, when designing our menus, is always to source local food from local companies, and to avail ourselves of the incredibly high quality that Ireland has to offer.
We, at Tuscany, pride ourselves on our relationship with local Irish producers and this allows us to combine quality ingredients with traditional recipes that go back to many generations, resulting in the great dishes “from gate to plate” that we are offering this Christmas at Tuscany.
Apart from the freshness of the products, local means that more money stays within our community and that is very important to us. Every euro spent generates twice as much income for the local economy. Local produce is also fresher, healthier and tastes better because it is usually sold within 24 hours of being picked.
This Christmas we have some exciting new local produces on board which include New Leaf Urban- County Limerick, Piedmontese farm- Thurles and Cotter Lamb- Abbeyfeale.
Incorporating the best of Italian & Irish is our ethos, whether we use Piedmont Beef in our Beef Carpaccio, blue cheese from Cashel or mushroom stuffing from Clonmel.
Buy local, and give this a go!
